The Cultural Centre Kaleidoskop, with the blessing of His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch, and with the support of UNESCO, will present the international, collective, and juried exhibition of sacred art The Light of the Logos from 1 to 16 September 2026 at the Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment Gallery in Belgrade (Studentski trg 5).
This year's open call attracted record-breaking interest from artists. A total of 305 icons by 208 artists from 23 countries across four continents were submitted, representing a significant increase compared to last year and confirming the exhibition's growing international reputation.
Following the selection process, the Artistic Council, composed of Dr. Georgios Kordis, Dr. Todor Mitrović, Dr. Tihon Rakićević, MA Natalija Stokanović, and Gabriel Toma Kituk, selected 109 works by 91 artists, which will be presented to the Belgrade audience during the exhibition.
In addition, the exhibition will feature 15 icons by 12 invited exhibitors from Serbia, Greece, Belarus, and Romania.
This year's exhibition will bring together 124 icons by 103 artists. Alongside artists from Serbia, the exhibition will present the works of 37 iconographers from 18 countries across Europe, North and South America, and Asia, further strengthening The Light of the Logos as a globally recognized platform for contemporary sacred art and reaffirming its status as one of the world's most significant exhibitions dedicated to this artistic field.
